About Us
Southscript Press is an indie author imprint established in 2021 by Rebecca Alasdair to publish her novels. Based in Melbourne, Australia on Wurundjeri Country, we are the culmination of a lifelong dream conceived by a little girl who lived and breathed stories.
Our books will encompass an eclectic mix of genres for a diverse range of audiences, from fantasy to contemporary, adult and young adult. Wherever the muse takes us, really! Our first novel, a Young Adult contemporary titled Holding Up the Sky, is out now.
Southscript Press acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the land on which our business is registered, the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and through them, to all Aboriginal people.
